What’s inside
Inside, you’ve got a shortwave infrared halogen element, tucked into a quartz tube. The halogen cycle keeps the filament stable even when it’s running hot, which helps prevent the output from drifting during long production stretches. The tube is coated to control the spectrum and to shield the element from the harsh conditions inside the heater block. And the R7s connector? It’s a direct match to the Sidel socket—no adapters, no rewiring. It snaps in fast, stays seated, and keeps the contact clean so you don’t get arcing or voltage drop at the joint.
